On Wednesday 6th July we were one of several school choirs from the Devizes area who lifted the roof at Dauntsey’s School in the Rotary Club of Devizes Super Choir event.
Woodborough School was represented by seventeen pupils from across Key Stage 2 who participated in twelve songs. Thank you to everyone who took part and to Mrs Blacker, Mrs Atkins and Mrs Lichter who supported the children.
Feedback from both children and parents has been really positive and Mrs Blacker was informed by one of the organisers that our pupils behaved brilliantly! A good time was had by all 😊

In the meantime, here are a few photos of our own…
A couple of photographs from pedal boat activity yesterday…
Everyone enjoyed the campfire last night with some great Woodborough talent show acts of joke telling, sketches (where’s my hair gel?), magic, storytelling and rapping.
Looking forward to katakanuing down the river before lunch and boarding the coach for home.
We’re all fairly well packed.
Hope everyone has empty washing machines!
Thursday started with a very short shower but clearing up now.
All groups doing different things this morning – Initiative Exercise, Rocket Launch, Fencing, Sensory Trail – and then all together for Team Challenge this afternoon. We think this might involve Zorbing on the lake – a first!
The pictures show that teamwork is the keyword of the week. Even for putting on suntan lotion!
There are also pictures from the Sensory Trail – more wet than dirty this year and the Egg Protector activity last night.
Call back for more news later…
Good morning from Croft Farm…
Another beautiful day. Everyone well rested after a hectic ‘run around quiz’ yesterday evening.
This picture taken at 6.30 am – All quiet… allowing teachers to have first cuppa of the day in peace! Very neat and tidy though!
Important message from Mrs Ashby… there is plenty of showering taking place 🙂
Everyone climbing and abseiling this morning.
Today’s class blogs have some great photos of the day’s activities. Follow these links:

Well the day has arrived and 27 excited pupils from Years 5 and 6 have set off for their Residential Visit to Croft Farm, Gloucestershire.
Dressed in their new hoodies, they were a vision in green and we all went out to wave them off.
We’re looking forward to hearing all about their adventures this week. Come back and visit regularly to see what they’ve been up to…
